Given the importance of petroleum, industrial and
services facilities; The Government has deemed the necessity of establishing a High Commission for Industrial Security that would set appropriate policies and plans to protect these facilities in the areas of security, safety and fire prevention to ensure the continuity of work and production under all circumstances.

seawater desalination and the delivery of desalinated water to

Luberef is one of the world’s leading suppliers of high-quality base oils and a virgin base oil producer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Founded in 1976 in Jeddah, Luberef was originally established as a joint venture between Petromin and Mobil that today stands as a pioneer in the base oils sector.
From our two facilities in Yanbu and Jeddah, we have a combined capacity to produce 1.3 million metric tonnes per annum of base oils for the use in high value branded lubricants, primarily for the automotive, marine, and industrial sectors.

Today, Luberef is a joint venture between Saudi Aramco (70%) and Jadwa Industrial Investment Company (30%).

SATORP is a world-class refinery started operation in June 2014. The environmentally friendly that Jubail Refinery is producing a high proportion of white products from heavy crude oil. The refinery is one of the most advanced refineries in the world.

Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical – Company (Petro Rabigh) was founded in 2005 as a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical. The plant is valued at about SAR 16.71 billion (25% funded by the public and the remainder equally funded by Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical) and originally produced 18.4 million tons per annum (mtpa) of petroleum-based products and 2.4 mtpa of ethylene and propylene based derivatives.

Petro Rbigh products areused in such end products as plastics, detergents, lubricants, resins, coolants, anti freeze, paint, carpets, rope, clothing, shampoo, auto interiors, epoxy glue, insulation, film, fibers, household appliances, packaging, candles, pipes and many other applications.

Following termination of the Arabian Oil Company concession agreement with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on February 27, 2000, Aramco Gulf Operations Company (AGOC) commenced its activities on February 28, 2000. AGOC took over the Saudi Government share of oil production and other hydrocarbon products in the divided zone, comprising four oil fields: Khafji, Hout, Lulu and Dorra.

Aramco Gulf Operations Company is incorporated as 100% subsidiary of the Kingdom’s national oil company Saudi Aramco and operates as an independent entity with its own Board of Directors, responsible to Saudi Aramco as shareholder.
