Industrial Security Operations General Manager, Saudi Aramco
Abdullah is currently the General Manager of Industrial Security, he started on this post from the beginning of 2019. Prior to his current job, he held the manager of Saudi Aramco Loss Prevention Department for 6 years (2013 thru 2018).
Throughout his career with the company, Abdullah served in many posts in Upstream and Downstream of Saudi Aramco facilities including Abqaiq Plants, Juaymah Gas Plant, and Pipelines. He also worked on a number of major capital projects including the Ras Tanura Refinery Upgrade Project, High Pressure Gas Treating Facilities in Berri, Qatif and Dammam field developments and Pipelines Expansion Projects.
Abdullah also worked with King Abdullah University for Science and Technology, known as KAUST, where he helped in the startup of the university in 2009 and established the university HSE organization.
Mr. Al-Ghamdi holds a bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from the New Mexico state university, and has completed a number of management & leadership programs including the Saudi Aramco Management Development program in 2013 and the Wharton Advanced Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania in 2015.
