ROLE OF THE COMMITTEE

The ASIS Middle East Committee is made up of policy-makers, industry leaders and international experts.  Its role is to:

  • Share knowledge and provide guidance

  • Help research and identify the topics that are of particular interest to the industry

  • Match these topics with the best possible presenters so the conference is as valuable as possible to the participants

COMMITTEE MEMBERS

Abdullah S. Al Shemaly

Chairman, ASIS Dhahran Chapter
Manager, Saudi Aramco

Al Shemaly is a Manager at one of Saudi Aramco’s facilities, where he joined the company in 2001. Al Shemaly has gained diversified professional experience in several important areas including Security Operation, Auditing, IT Security, Human Resource, Corporate Security and Facility Management. His professional career is based on positions ranging from operation delivery/execution to administrating and managing large complex organizations. Beside his normal duties, he is currently the Chairman of ASIS International at Dhahran Chapter.
Al Shemaly possess internationally recognized qualifications including CEH, CHFI, CCCI, in addition to a Master Degree of Computer Science majoring in Information Assurance & Security from Florida State University (FSU) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM).

Saeed Ba Dugaish

Secretary, ASIS Dhahran Chapter
Security Advisor, Saudi Aramco

Saeed is a security advisor at Saudi Aramco with more than 10 years of experience. During his career, Saeed was able to hold various positions in the field of fraud investigation, emergency response, planning, performance management, security intelligence and more. Beside his normal duties, he is currently the Secretary of ASIS International at Dhahran Chapter.
Saeed earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) and a Master Degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University (BU).

Ali M. Al-Qahtani

Emergency Centre Chief, Saudi Aramco

Ali has a wealth of 16 years in security operations. His experience is diversified into physical security, operations, investigation, emergency response, and administration. Ali has a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Leeds and Master Degree in Business and Organizational security Management from Webster University. He is a certified CPP and PSP.

Mohammad S. Alries

Treasurer, ASIS Dhahran Chapter
Special Service Unit Supervisor, Saudi Aramco

Mohammed has more than 8 year in industrial security and public prosecutions. His experience varies from working in the Saudi Commission of Fraud and anti-corruption, background Investigation office and Emergency Response. Mohammad has a Criminal Justice degree from the University Of Arizona. He is certified in CFI.
